I thought God had abandoned me, there were not even any public buses, for Heaven's sake. I can already tell that Bella reacted in a much more positive way than I did!
I will let you know how I rate after I am done reading it!
WyomingTamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17179420423752598651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658012447017252519.post-24271806564084369992009-06-23T15:52:43.331-07:002009-06-23T15:52:43.331-07:00In high school moving from one area of the country...In high school moving from one area of the country to another would be a major adjustment for any teenager. It would be interesting to read how the character of the book adjust to the changes.
I enjoyed high school, our phy ed teacher started a girl's basketball team and track team and I thought that was great!MoreChocolatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13424924501733623174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658012447017252519.post-55413830726589273972009-06-23T12:13:54.121-07:002009-06-23T12:13:54.121-07:00Great comments, everybody! And getting contacts for my 16th birthday! I was still pretty awkward and shy in high school. I was on the high school newspaper - got to meet national news anchor Howard K. Smith once! And I too was a candystriper and loved it. I always wanted to be a nurse - and that's what I did - but a wonderful HS Mocha with Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16387717261200678465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658012447017252519.post-9752032098716648452009-06-23T11:11:49.620-07:002009-06-23T11:11:49.620-07:00I always felt like the outsider in high school. It was junior high that I enjoyed the most. Even still, those times seem so simple and less complicated than the here and now. There are days I'd go back in a minute...other times not for anything!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17186561608318077177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658012447017252519.post-20213393070930713192009-06-23T10:09:09.543-07:002009-06-23T10:09:09.543-07:00Edna--I never wanted to be a nurse, but I did one ...Edna--I never wanted to be a nurse, but I did one summer of candy-striping with a friend. I learned that the nursing profession didn't want me, either! But you should write your story for your kids. My mother did, and it's just a few stapled, typed pages, but I treasure it!

And, yes, King's daughter--you're entered! I never had an ambition to write I just like to read books. I tried to write the story of my life for my kids and grandkids but could not do that either.
